Kestrel 3500 Weather Anemometer is perfect for any activity that requires accurate assessment of the environment

Features & Applications:

The Kestrel 3500 Weather Anemometer quickly and easily provides all the environmental data that the top-of-the-line Kestrel 4000 Anemometer does, except for Density Altitude. The Kestrel 3500 Weather Anemometer scrolls through the current reading of 9 different environmental conditions, and is a great option for someone who needs the ability to measure a wide variety of environmental conditions, but doesn't need the data storage, graphing, or computer interface options found in the Kestrel 4000 Anemometer.

The Kestrel 3500 Weather Anemometer includes all the functionality of the Kestrel 3000 Anemometer model, plus a great 3-hour pressure trend indicator, several additional environmental variables, and a clock feature.

Features:

  • Real-time clock Protective cover with sure-grip overmolding Data hold function Large easy-to-read display with backlight Waterproof and floats Lanyard and battery included All instruments and accessories are completely assembled in the USA Innovate humidity sensor designed for stability and accuracy in abrupt condition changes Thermally adjusted humidity sensor Patented user-replaceable impeller Quick response, external thermistor
  • High precision pressure sensor

Applications:

  • Crop dusting & spraying Fire fighting Mining ventilation Ventilation (HVAC) Education
  • Animal husbandry

Weight: unit: 2.3oz (65gr)
cover: 1.3oz (37gr)
Operating Temperature: LCD readability is lost above 122ºF (50ºC) and below 5ºF (-15ºC). Accurate readings may be
taken beyond these temperature limits by exposing the unit for the minimum time necessary
to take and record measurement.
Storage Temperature: Recommended  -4ºF to 176ºF (-20ºC to 80ºC)
Temperature Limitations: The Kestrel temperature sensor is able to measure temperatures as low as -22F (-30C) and
as high as 158F (70C). The Kestrel is able to display wind chill measurements lower than
-22F, depending on wind conditions. It is also able to display heat index measurements
above 158F, depending on humidity conditions. The Kestrel display will not function if the
display itself gets below 5F (-15C). However, if the unit is kept in a pack or pocket or other
warm area, the display itself should not get this cold.
Patents: 5,783,753; 5,939,645; Other patents pending.
Certification: Wind speed, temperature and humidity measurements are tested at the factory before packaging.
Factory certification is available for additional fee.

Product is CE certified.
